My story
I was born in this town. I have lived in its buildings, I have been forced out and homeless on these streets when still in school. I have stood with its people and understood their struggles, I have fought to educate myself and overcome, I have wept torrents in its doorways when I lost my child, my innocence, my sense of safety and all my hopes and dreams, and I have walked all of these streets, burdened with shame, bloodied from being knocked down so often, only to get back up and back up again to find my strength and my own place to create, a life, and then, because I choose to covert the hurt to care, I made a centre for healing , and because I know these feelings, I can see them, I can support others and make some difference, these events alter us, shape us and become our health, so I made these teas, here in my building, in my town, in my streets and I will take it out into those streets and offer it to this town and any town, because all of it, that I have seen and been, is human and can be transformed.
I am of here, I am here, to help.
