Our grief program was developed to assist in the processing of this experience.
Grief is a process, sometimes called an ocean. It can feel like a very lonely and isolated place. Research suggests that grief can have a long-lasting effect on our health and that the loss of a close loved one is very impactful for at least five years, though as those of us who have experienced it, will know, it returns in its own rhythm. Sometimes new and shockingly fresh even after much time has passed. Grief, like all human experiences, is not new, and we firmly believe that we are designed for transmuting our experience, how well we are able to do this, depends on the amount of support we have.
